Instructions Process

1. Initial Enquiry

Solicitors are invited to make direct contact to discuss suitability of instruction, availability and anticipated timescale.

2. Instruction Review

Medical records and case documentation are reviewed following instruction. No minimum record threshold applies.

3. Report Preparation

Reports are prepared independently and, where applicable, in accordance with CPR Part 35 requirements.

4. Further Work

Supplementary reports, clarification reports, joint discussions between experts, conferences with Counsel and Court attendance may be undertaken where required.

Fees

Professional Fee

Professional time is charged at £400 per hour.

Professional time associated with all aspects of the instruction and report preparation will be charged, including record review, consultations, meetings, correspondence, report preparation, supplementary reports and travel time.

Travel expenses will be charged separately where incurred.

Reports are normally completed within 4-6 weeks, depending on complexity and volume of records. Invoices are payable within 6 months of receipt of report.
